Dr. Shadia Saleh was handpicked and trained by Dr. James Harris, medical director of Restore. Her surgical philosophy centers on blending artistry with science while treating patients with compassion. Prior to joining Restore, Dr. Saleh conducted clinical research in hair loss focused on identifying potential risk factors associated with scarring alopecia. She also contributed to the development of a novel laboratory technique for isolating Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) from biological matrices—work relevant to advancing academic research in human disease and to the development of therapeutic drug-delivery mechanisms.

I went in with a bald head (almost totally in back, and mostly in the middle front), was told what it would cost to make it look full (hint: a lot), then after making the decision to go forward, the procedure was smooth, and the 9 months after have been very, very exciting. It’s daily excitement. It worked, for one thing. Really well. I have hair now and of lot of it (visually, seeming so). Granted they just moved the hair technically, but anyone would say I went from almost totally bald in back and mostly in front to plenty of hair in front, and only slightly thinning in back. It’s a dramatic, stable change. It’s not like a trick that sometimes looks good, it always looks much fuller than before. It’s like being able to experience what life would be like in different shoes (how people treat you differently etc). I personally had a lot of self confidence before, and now it’s like another layer. I have an opportunity to be kind and look good (you know where most good looking people are kind of rude). Visually, people automatically like you more subconsciously. I still have one procedure left. I’m doing this for professional reasons, but personal benefits shine like the glaring sun. If you follow my lead, you’re on a good path.

Mentally: It’s more fun, and exciting for everyone. Hair is fun. And people around me like the look better and have more fun too. It’s been great. My girlfriend acquaintance who liked me before my surgery said “It looks great but you also looked great bald”. Other girlfriend said "you made the right decision to do this". On the business side: it removes the talking point when making press appearances which is accomplished the primary goal I had for this. While also being very enhancing on the personal side.

It’s very similar to buying a car. It’s a big cost, but big long term stable results that continue to deliver each day. It can change your whole life experience in a positive way. I don't consider it "faking" an appearance, I consider it the same as brushing your hair in the morning to create a pleasant experience for everyone (in the end it's for other people). It's ends up being an overall positive for everyone.

Finally: if you already are wanting your hair back for some reason, or you’ve just decided that you’d like to have hair instead of being bald, we are at that day and age you can make that happen (with some doh and it takes a good amount to pay everyone, they do a lot of work moving hairs individually), I would go with RESTORE. From my perspective they are your BEST chances at the most quality, reliable job, with long term results. My Dr. is Dr. Lovitt. Obviously, she did an incredible job. Frankly, it seems perfect from my perspective (I'm not a hair expert but every hair seems in the exact right spot, lots of planning ahead, no messups at all from what I can see).

My interface with Restore started with an individualized sit down with a Restore patient advisor. Sean was great…he walked me through the process so that I was able to understand every facet of the FUE process…as it pertained specifically to me and my current state of hair loss / donor availability. In the same session, I was also able to meet with the doctor and discuss his views on how best to use the grafting process to best suit me for optimal results.
( side note — post consultation, while I was in the decision process, I lost track of how many times I reached out to Sean via text and call..—- he was always attentive, always answered my questions and/or concerns - always got answers back to me if he needed further info)
With the number of grafts I would be receiving, a 2 day program was designed for me.
On surgery day 1 - met with my surgeon again to “sketch in” the plan as well the techs who would be helping make the process a success. Together, these folks have thousands and thousands of procedures - super valuable knowledge base and experience. You also have to realize that when you’re in their care, there is no question in your mind whatsoever that your procedure is the most important order of the day. These 5 techs worked with such skill and expertise - their choreography was inspiring…it was almost as though the 5 techs were 1 person how they integrated their actions and activities for the best possible procedure for me. The
I was kept informed real time of the process and any & all questions were answered in depth. I was sent home with all the supplies and information I needed for self care that evening.
Surgery day 2 was equally a perfect experience. And because of my surgeons years and years of experience we were able to “reach a little farther” than originally expected. Again post op info & self care instructions were provided…of course I had a few extra questions (after hours) … I was able to text a team member after hours for those answers!!
In summary…. Do I recommend Restore Hair - YES without any reservations… Would I go to Restore Hair again..??…YES — only wish I had been in their care 10 years earlier..!! Don’t wait any longer — go get informed now.
