FUE is a one-day, outpatient procedure, with a team of professionals working for 6-8 hours constantly on a client’s procedure. Because the procedure is minimally invasive and only requires a local anesthesia, clients are wide awake the entire time and relaxing during a hair transplant is part of the process.
Since clients are sticking with us for the whole day, we took the time to ask “What’s your favorite thing to do while hanging out in the office?”
Here’s what they had to say.
Relaxing During a Hair Transplant - Music
Music soothes the soul, and can put bored clients to sleep. Those looking to relax can easily wear earbuds during the procedure. We particularly recommend music for clients that feel nervous or excitable. Have nerves? Calming music helps a great amount. Want to jam out conservatively? Throw in some tunes.
Reading
Many clients bring a book or two with them. We typically recommend clients use a Kindle or something similar, to minimize page turning and book adjusting. We are happy to make adjustments for your comfort however, being still is sometimes necessary. That being said, there is nothing better than a day to get lost in a book.
Watching TV or Movies
Speaking of mobile devices, TV and movies are both excellent for the day. We always offer a tablet & TV, but plenty of clients use their phones. The RESTORE office has WiFi for streaming anything, so watch away, entertainment junkies! This is your chance to binge with pride.
Skype or Phone Calls
Plenty of our clients chat the hours away. Skype and other video calls are possible, through our WiFi connection. In fact, many of our clients enjoy showcasing the procedure to their friends and colleagues.
Completing Work
As all professionals know, sometimes business cannot wait. Our clients often review documents, chat, and conduct important calls. Most work can be done with minimal movement and physical activity, which is perfect for the day at RESTORE. Catch up on emails and work on business strategy!
