RESTORE by Katona, the leader in hair transplantation is seeking to hire a full-time hair restoration technician in our Oak Brook, IL office. Responsibilities include room and procedure prep, assisting the doctor and the patients, follicle sorting, follicle placing, and post-op cleanup.

Our office is extremely professional and fast-paced. Qualified applicants must have acute tactile abilities with steady hands, good dexterity and excellent eyesight.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • EITHER: College level medical degree, nursing degree, or medical certificate
  • HAIR restoration experience required (2 years min preferred)
  • General and basic medical knowledge and understanding
  • Experienced with an autoclave and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Excellent eyesight, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
  • Detail-oriented

Hours and compensation:

Full time hours, M-F, typically very early morning start, through mid-afternoon.
Salary range is $40,000+ to start, depending on experience, time in the medical field, training, and schooling.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for setting up patient schedules and digital documentation
  • Manage client schedules efficiently and provide exceptional customers service
  • Maintain patient records in billing and scheduling
  • Able to multi-task and handle a variety of daily duties that may arise
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team – oriented environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2 plus years prior scheduling, telephone, and customer service experience in a professional office environment, healthcare background a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology with both excellent verbal and written skill
